About the Film
Produced in accordance with the DOGME ’95 Vow of Chastity, CRIME is a feature film tracking the lives of four disparate characters in contemporary Vancouver, all of whom become implicated, as either victims or perpetrators, in a series of “criminal” acts. Blending unflinching realism, dark humour, and riveting drama, the film serves as both a detailed psychological study of the four principal characters and a probing analysis of the societal forces that drive them and either punish or reward their behaviour.
