Synopsis

TULA, an overworked waitress in her father’s Lebanese restaurant, struggles to reconcile her fragile early recovery from alcoholism and her co-dependent relationship with BRENT, an unemployed musician whose daily pot smoking and suspicious attitude towards Alcoholics Anonymous present serious challenges to her sobriety.

Meanwhile, RICK, a former top-tier amateur hockey player taking one last desperate crack at making the pros by playing at the university level, is subsidizing his schooling by working as a Residence Life Advisor in a junior campus dormitory where he is befriended by CRYSTAL, an emotionally fragile first year student grappling with the recent death of her older brother.

These four disparate characters, grasping to find some semblance of peace, purpose, and sense of belonging in their lives, unwittingly find themselves on an inexorable collision course that will leave all of their lives in pieces.
